Discover more about your unique gifts and how you can connect to the church through your calling.
I. Spiritual Gifts
    Pauline epistles teaches of Gifts given by God:
             1. Spiritual Gifts (1 Cor. 12:8-10) - wisdom, knowledge, faith, healing, miracles, prophecy,                
                 interpretation of tongues, discerning of spirits, speaking tongues (divers)
            2. Ministry Gifts (Eph 4:11) - Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Teacher
                     1.Perfecting of Saints
                     2.Work of Ministry
                     3.Edifying the Body of Christ
           3. Fruit or Characteristic of the Holy Spirit - (Gal. 5:22,23) - 22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy,
                peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness and temperance.

- Spiritual Gifts are given unto us when we accept Jesus as our savior
- Ministry Gifts are given to the church (called out believers or ekklesia)
- Fruit of the Holy Spirit are the characteristics you inherit when you accept Jesus Christ

II. The Call by God
      1. God called us to Himself (1 Peter 2:9 "chosen generation called out of darkness into marvelous light...")
      2. God called us to the ministry of reconciling the unsaved to Himself
          (2 Cor. 5:18 "...who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the  ministry of
          reconciliation.)
      3. God has called us to ALL the nations (Matt. 28:19 “teach ALL nations baptizing in the name of the
          Father, Son, Holy Ghost)

III. How do we fit?
      1.We must define our NATURAL strengths AND weaknesses.
           1.Natural
                  1.What are your skillset strengths? (writing, speaking, administration, handy, etc.)
                  2.What are your character strengths? (patient, empathetic, good listener, etc.)
                  3.What are your character challenges? (not patient, too direct, etc.)
                  4.What things do you LIKE TO DO?  (don't mind doing it for a season)
                  5.What things do you LOVE TO DO? (would do it for free for ever)
                  6.How do you think others see you? (positive & negative)
                  7.Would you consider yourself a laid back or an aggressive person?
                  8.Are you stronger at finding problems or fixing problems?
                  9.What do you do for a living?
                 10.How much time can you spend on ministry in a given week?
       2.We must define our SPIRITUAL strengths.
             1.Spiritual
                  1.Based on 1 Cor. 12, what do you feel are your primary gifts
                  2.Based on 1 Cor. 12, what do you feel are your secondary gifts
                  3.Are you a tither?  
                  4.Are you a giver to others?
                  5.How much time do you spend in talking to God per day?
                  6.Based on Eph. 4, what ministry gift you feel best fits you?
                  7.What would be your burden in the body of Christ today?
                             Teachings based on Malachi (Burdens that lead to writing vision)
                  8.How does God speak to you?
                  9.When God speaks to you do you IMMEDIATELY respond to His voice?
                 10.Do you adhere to the voice of your spiritual leader?

     •Do you know your calling?
     •Does your natural and spiritual strength line up to your calling?
     •Do you think your leader see you the way you see yourself?
